Studio Sessions: Eszter Sapi on Big Red & Shiny
About Eszter:
Eszter Sapi is a 2012 MFA graduate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and earned a BA from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota in studio art in 2008. Eszter’s work is manifest in a wide variety of ways. She will use the same image or object repeated throughout several pieces, and using mixed media techniques produce several varieties of results from the same imagery. The structured use of repetition suggests that there is an intentional meaning contained within the compositions, although it may not be easy for the casual observer to discern. Listen as she decodes some of these works and explains the ideas she is exploring in her process.
