In my triumphant artistic return to my hometown of Lawrence, Kansas, a showing of my recent spray paint stencil paintings is up at the Bourgeois pig beginning May 31st and running through the end of June. The show has been hanging for less than an hour and I’ve already had two informal sales, and I’m pretty sure author and Lawrence resident David Ohle was here while I was hanging the pieces. David Ohle was an associate of William S. Burroughs when he lived here and worked as an assistant transcribing Burroughs’ dreams. He has 3 books of his own, all of which I’ve read, and it’s cool to have one of your favorite writers digging on your work.
